Ruby Falls
Ruby Falls holds the distinction of being America’s deepest commercial cave and most-visited underground waterfall — a truly awe-inspiring natural wonder discovered in 1928. Located deep inside Lookout Mountain near Chattanooga, Tennessee, Ruby Falls is a 145-foot underground waterfall at the end of a dramatic cave tour through extraordinary geological formations.
Guided tours take visitors on a half-mile journey underground to the thundering waterfall at the heart of the mountain. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places and one of the most popular natural attractions in the Southeast — a short, scenic drive from Bear Creek Log Cabins on Lookout Mountain.
